It’s an annual tradition: Columbia’s Annual Fundraising Dinner. Over 325 guests joined us this past Saturday to enjoy an incredible evening together and to invest in our mission to equip young adults for lives of discipleship, ministry, and leadership in service to the church and community. We’re grateful for every person who came and for an evening of delightful moments! Here are a few:

Long table dining, with stunning decor.

Seeing Tonia Martens, our Development Events Coordinator and CAFD Mastermind, in action.

Watching our Columbia students greet and serve guests yummy appies!

A wonderful group of guests, enjoying themselves!

Meeting this guy, who wins the Youngest and Cutest CAFD Guest Award.

Delicious meal provided by Chef Jordan Rempel and Columbia Gourmet Catering.

Columbia’s Travelling Ministry Team led us in amazing worship.

Columbia faculty and staff shared why they’re so excited to pursue the Columbia mission.

Bryan Born gave a passionate keynote address.

We’re so thankful for each and every guest who came to hear how Columbia is doing as we head into the future together. The financial support we receive at this event makes it possible for Columbia to keep pursuing our mission!

  1. My wife and I, both grads of 1960 MBBI, enjoyed the evening, reconnecting with former school mates and friends. we support the work of the school as we are able.

One thing that bothered me, was that during the time the panel was on stage talking about various aspects of school life, there was a constant barrage of background music, which made it difficult to understand all that was being said by the panel.

I will have to think twice about attending future events of that nature.
